Three People Displaced After Fire Destroys Horry Co. Home

One person was treated for injuries at the scene but signed a medical transport waiver.

A home in Horry County was destroyed during a fire Monday.

The flames broke out around 1:30pm at a residence along Brogdon Drive. The blaze was under control around 3pm.

A nearby home sustained exterior heat damage and a vehicle sustained heavily damaged as well.

One person was treated for injuries at the scene but signed a medical transport waiver.

Three people were displaced and will be offered assistance from the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
