Lucky Foods-Branded Cinnamon Powder Recalled

This recall is tied to a public health alert about lead contamination in cinnamon products.

Ground cinnamon has been recalled across 14 states.

The cinnamon was sold by TBC Distribution Corporate and the recall was placed after elevated levels of lead were determined in Lucky Foods-branded cinnamon powder.

The products have a best-by date of September 15, 2027. Those affected were distributed between April 11 and September 1 across states including North and South Carolina.

Officials say no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. Consumers are urged to refrain from consumption and contact the company for more information.
