Robeson Co. Shooting Claims Life Of 23-Year-Old

The situation unfolded around 2:30pm Sunday in the 6000 block of North Chicken Road in Pembroke.

A shooting in Robeson County claimed the life of one person.

The situation unfolded around 2:30pm Sunday in the 6000 block of North Chicken Road in Pembroke.

Deputies responded to a disturbance call and found 23-year-old Jada Sanderson dead at the scene.

A person of interest has been identified in connection to the shooting. An investigation remains underway and anyone with any information is urged to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
