Several Arrested For Role In Robeson Co. Mass Shooting

Five people have been arrested ranging from age 18 to 49 and police are still looking for 34-year-old Robert Jacobs.

Several people have been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred at Halloween party in Robeson County.

On October 25, officials responded to Dixon Drive due to noise complaints. However, while in route, several calls reported shots fired from that same location.

Upon arrival, police came across a large party with hundreds of attendees. 49-year-old Jessie Locklear Jr. and 16-year-old Nehemiah Locklear were both pronounced dead at the scene. 11 other victims were transported to hospitals to be treated for injuries and have since been released.

Evidence collected from the scene later determined that at least 14 different weapons were fired during a shootout. Five people have been arrested ranging from age 18 to 49 and police are still looking for 34-year-old Robert Jacobs. Each of the suspects are accused of “various criminal offences related to the hosting and operation of the event.”

The main priority for authorities is finding the shooters responsible for both deaths. The investigation remains active and anyone with information is urged to contact Robeson County authorities.
