A woman died after she was run over by her own vehicle in Horry County.

The incident occurred on Sunday at the intersection of Carolina Road and Converse Drive in Conway.

35-year-old Arica Richardson was found underneath her vehicle. It appeared that the vehicle slipped into gear while she was fixing the transmission.

Further details were not immediately available but the Conway Police Department is investigating.
