Fourth Arrest Made In Connection To Andrews Homicide

An October shooting in Andrews resulted in the death of 21-year-old Jonathan Cooper.

A fourth arrest has been made in connection to a homicide that happened in Georgetown County.

An October shooting in Andrews resulted in the death of 21-year-old Jonathan Cooper and left a 22-year-old man wounded. The incident unfolded near the intersection of West Main and Hazel Streets.

25-year-old Tyqese Bynum-Jackson has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime for the role he allegedly played.

Previously three others have been charged in the homicide and are detained without bond. That includes 25-year-old Shiameek Alston, 24-year-old Derrick Bright Jr., and 40-year-old Jimmy Smith.

An investigation is still underway and anyone with information is asked to contact Georgetown County authorities.
