After leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to their second straight World Series win, Shohei Ohtani was named the National League MVP. He became the first player in MLB history to win the award twice in both the National and the American Leagues.
Separately, New York Yankees star Aaron Judge was named the American League MVP for his third MVP award overall. He became the third player ever to hit 50 home runs and win a batting title in the same season, joining Yankees legend Mickey Mantle.
