Tesla Shareholders Approve Musk Pay Package
More than 75% of the shareholders approved the compensation package.
Tesla shareholders have approved a deal that could eventually make Elon Musk the first trillionaire ever.
More than 75% of the shareholders approved a compensation package that could grant the tech entrepreneur nearly $1 trillion over the next decade.
Full compensation would only be delivered if Musk vaults the company from its present value of $1.1 trillion to $8.5 trillion. That figure that surpasses the current combined market values of Meta, Microsoft, and Google-parent Alphabet.
The package also includes a set of production goals. If carried out, the move would make Musk the best-compensated CEO ever recorded.
