Another Arrest Made In Connection To Fatal Shooting

Another arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting in Florence County.

On October 18, Christopher Sullivan was shot and killed following a verbal altercation that turned deadly.

The incident unfolded on Bartley Court in the Southern Pines community. 36-year-old Steven Howle is accused of traveling from his home in Lamar to the area to confront Sullivan. An argument prompted shots fired.

Howle was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. 33-year-old Chelsea Dew is accused of driving Howle to the scene. She has also been arrested and charged with murder. Both suspects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
