Marion Co. Crash Claims Life Of One Person

A GMC SUV was heading south on 501 while a Chevy Sudan was traveling east on Penderboro.

A crash in Marion County claimed the life of one person.

The accident happened Wednesday afternoon along Highway 501 Bypass near Penderboro Road.

A GMC SUV was heading south on 501 while a Chevy Sudan was traveling east on Penderboro. The vehicles then collided at the intersection.

The driver of the Sudan did not survive the crash and the GMC driver was transported to a hospital to be treated. Their current condition is unknown.

The identities of those involved have not been released. The SCHP is investigating the crash.
