Passengers Ok After Plane Makes Emergency Landing

The aircraft made an emergency landing on a 100-acre turf grass farm off Catfish Bay Road.

A plane was forced to make an emergency landing in the Pee Dee area Thursday.

The aircraft made an emergency landing on a 100-acre turf grass farm off Catfish Bay Road in the Oak Grove area of Dillon County.

Crews began searching for the downed aircraft on the Dillon and Marlboro County line.

The two occupants aboard the plane are ok. The pilot was reportedly having some issues with the plane before making the emergency landing.

An investigation is underway.
