About 50 Shots Fired Damaging Home And Vehicle

Officers were called to the area of Pine Needle Drive and Freemont Road in Longs.

An estimated 50 gunshots were fired in Horry County on Tuesday night.

Around 10:30pm, officers were called to the area of Pine Needle Drive and Freemont Road in Longs. Nearly four bullets struck the siding of a home and the rear glass of a vehicle at another residence was “completely shattered.”

Authorities collected nearly a dozen shell casings from the area as evidence. Officials also reviewed surveillance video in the area, but the footage was blurry and the shooter could not be identified.

No injuries were reported and further details were not immediately available.
