Man Found Deceased In Backseat Of Burning Vehicle

An autopsy is scheduled to determine his cause of death, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.

One man was found deceased in the backseat of a vehicle that was on fire.

At about 8pm on Saturday, 20-year-old Stoney Floyd Jr’s body was found in the vehicle along Bullock Trail in Horry County.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine his cause of death, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.

The burning vehicle was around 500 feet from the intersection of West Bear Grass Road. It appeared to be “purposely” set on fire.
