18-Year-Old Charged After Vape Sale Turned Violent
The incident took place on September 22 in the 900 block of Pint Circle in the Longs area.
An 18-year-old male is facing charges after a vape cartridge sale went wrong.
The incident took place on September 22 in the 900 block of Pint Circle in the Longs area.
Several victims drove to meet people with intentions of selling the cartridge. Upon arrival, James Davis Jr. as well as two-other unnamed co-defendants attempted to rob the group at gunpoint.
The driver attempted to flee the scene which prompted Davis to shoot toward the vehicle several times striking the driver.
A juvenile was in the backseat and drug out of the vehicle at gunpoint during the incident. He was run over by the car as the other victims attempted to pull him back in.
Further details are limited as an investigation remains underway. Davis is charged with three counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
