Jane Goodall Dies At Age Of 91

Conservationist Jane Goodall reportedly died of natural causes while on a speaking tour in California.

Conservationist Jane Goodall has passed away at the age of 91.

The environmental advocate became a beloved household name who transcended generations through her appearances in documentaries and on TV, as well as her travels to address packed auditoriums around the world.

Goodall is renowned for her ground-breaking, immersive chimpanzee field research in which she documented the primates’ distinct personalities and use of tools.

The Jane Goodall Institute announced her death Wednesday saying she died of natural causes while on a speaking tour in California. The institute said her discoveries “revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world.”
