The gunman has been identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Two detainees remain in critical condition following a shooting at a Dallas ICE facility Wednesday.

The incident unfolded around 6:40am when a suspect opened fire from a nearby rooftop. In addition to the two injured detainees, another was fatally shot.

The gunman has been identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Department of Homeland Security claims the shooting was driven by “hatred for ICE.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said this was a deliberate attack on law enforcement.

However, the gunman’s motives remain unclear as investigators work to learn more. No ICE officers were injured during the shooting.
