Two People Killed, One Injured During Dallas ICE Facility Shooting

The suspected shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A shooting unfolded at an ICE facility in Dallas Wednesday morning.

The gunman fired multiple rounds from a roof or an elevated position down into the field office’s secure entryway.

It is unclear who the shooter’s target was, but three ICE detainees were shot. Two of the victims did not survive the injuries they sustained while one remains in a hospital.

Separately, the suspected shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No ICE officers were injured during the incident.

A motive remains unknown as an investigation is underway to reveal more information.
