Hyundai SUVs Recalled Due To Seat Belt Issues

Owners can take their vehicle to a dealership for inspection and free buckle replacements if necessary.

A recall has been placed on more than half-a-million Hyundai SUVs.

The recall covers Palisades that were manufactured from 2020 through 2025. It was placed due to an issue that involves the driver, passenger, and second-row window seats. The seat belts may fail to latch.

The company has received more than 500 reports of faulty latches, however, no crashes, injuries, or deaths, have been linked to the defect.

Owners can take their vehicle to a dealership for inspection and free buckle replacements if necessary. Until then, Hyundai advises you to firmly insert seat belts and tug on them to make they’re secured.
