Marion Co. Authorities Need Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

Marion County authorities are asking for help with identifying the suspect of an armed robbery.
The incident unfolded at the Dollar General on S. Main Street in Marion around 8:30 Sunday night.
The man entered the store with a firearm and demanded money. He reportedly escorted the cashiers toward the front of the store while holding them at gunpoint.
When the man was leaving the store, a witness attempted to chase him, but stopped when the suspect started firing shots at them.
No one was injured during the situation. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is urged to contact the Marion Police Department.
