One Person Arrested, One Wanted In Connection To 3 Y/O Death
34-year-old Joseph Waterman Jr. is wanted on a murder charge and is considered "armed and dangerous."
One man has been charged and one suspect is wanted in connection to the death of a three-year-old.
The incident occurred on Saturday night along Midway Highway in Florence County.
An argument escalated into physical violence prompting a gun to go off which resulted in the toddler suffering a gunshot wound. Antonio Burgess Jr. was taken to a hospital where he later died.
36-year-old Kenneth Washington Jr. turned himself into authorities and is now facing charges. He is accused of driving a co-defendant to the incident location as well as aiding and assisting the co-defendant after the shooting, failing to contact authorities or render aid to the child.
Police are searching for 34-year-old Joseph Waterman Jr.. He is 5-feet-6 and weighs around 160 pounds. He is wanted on a murder charge and is considered “armed and dangerous.” Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Florence County authorities.
