Horry Co. Police Investigate Two Separate Shootings

Anyone with information regarding either situation is urged to contact Horry County authorities.

The Horry County Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that happened over night.

The first took place off of Rexford Court in the Myrtle Beach area around 7:40pm. A victim who was suffering non-life threatening injuries was taken to a nearby fire station seeking help. EMS was called and transported them to a hospital.

The second shooting unfolded off of Gateway Drive in the Loris area around 4:30am. Two individuals with injuries were taken to a hospital, one who was in critical condition.

The two shootings are not believed to be related. Anyone with information regarding either situation is urged to contact Horry County authorities.
