Woman Faces Charges Following Horry Co. Stabbing

20-year-old Callie Gordon was detained and now faces an attempted murder and weapons charge.

One woman is facing charges following a stabbing in Horry County.

Shortly before midnight on Sunday, police responded to a home along Nottingham Lakes Road.

Upon arrival, one victim and another person were found in the backyard. The person injured had been stabbed in the chest and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

A witness informed authorities that the victim was installing a new lock on a shed when 20-year-old Callie Gordon came out of a bedroom with a knife and attacked the victim. Police found the knife on a ramp leading to the shed.

Gordon was found knocking on the door of a home across the street attempting to find a ride. She was detained and now faces an attempted murder and weapons charge. She is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.
