Florence Co. School Bus Involved In Multi-Vehicle Crash

A Florence 1 Schools’ bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

The crash took place around 3pm on East Old Marion Highway, between Firetower Road and Taylor Hill Circle.

There were six children on board. None of the kids suffered serious injuries, but the bus driver had to be evaluated.

The incident prompted parents to bring forth an ongoing complaint regarding the roadway. Residents have repeatedly warned officials about the dangers of this road, including speeding and poor visibility.
