Several Beach Rules Change After Labor Day

Furry friends must be on a leash and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Several beach rules in Myrtle Beach have changed following Labor Day.

Starting Tuesday, dogs and bicycles will once again be allowed on the beach and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at any time.

The furry friends must be on a leash and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Tents and shading devices up to 12-by-12-square-feet are also allowed on the beach. However, they have to be set up on or behind the umbrella line.
