Around 780,000 Pressure Washers Recalled
There has been 135 reports of the capacitors overheating, 32 of which resulted in injuries.
TTI Outdoor Power Equipment placed the recall on around 780,000 of it’s Ryobi Electric Pressure Washers. It was issued due to the possibility of the product’s capacitor overheating.
The problem poses a risk of serious injury from impact to the user or bystanders. There has been 135 reports of the capacitors overheating, 32 of which resulted in injuries.
The pressure washer’s were sold at Home Depot and Direct Tools Factory Outlet stores nationwide. Consumers should stop use immediately and contact the company for a free repair kit.
