Three Dead, Several Injured During New York Shooting
Police believe some of the victims were involved in the gun fire exchange while others were bystanders.
A shooting in Brooklyn, New York resulted in the death of three people and left several others injured.
The shooting unfolded at the Taste of the City lounge in the Crown Heights neighborhood around 3:30am Sunday.
Three men, ages 19, 27, and 35, died from gunshot wounds. Nine other victims were injured and range in age from 19 to 61.
Police believe some of the victims were involved in the gun fire exchange while others were bystanders.
The shooting appeared to be gang related and there were up to four shooters involved, though no arrests have been made at this time.
Police recovered one firearm nearby and are looking into whether it was used during the incident or not. 42 shell casings were recovered from the scene shot from 9mm and 45-caliber firearms.
