CCU Men’s Soccer Coach Announces Retirement

The head coach for Coastal Carolina men’s soccer announced his retirement.
Shaun Docking led the Chants to 23 Big South and Sun Belt Conference championships over 26 seasons.
His teams have secured multiple records and earned 11 trips to the NCAA tournament. He was also recognized as conference coach of the year eight times.
During his 28-year career as a head coach, he mentored 25 players who went on to play professional soccer.
Docking’s retirement is effective immediately and Assistant Coach Chris Fidler has been named interim head coach.
The Chants are set to host USC Upstate on Friday.
