Darlington Police Need Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

They were described as a light skin African American male sporting a white T-shirt with blue plaid pajama pants.

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the suspect of an armed robbery.

Around 10pm Wednesday night, a person entered the Dollar General located on S. Center Road.

They were described as a light skin African American male sporting a white T-shirt with blue plaid pajama pants. They were also wearing a mask.

The suspect carried a bag of candy to check-out and when the clerk opened a register, they pulled a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect then fled the scene before authorities arrived.
