Driver Charged After Drugs Discovered In Stolen Vehicle

On Monday, Robeson County deputies pulled over a black Dodge Charger on Asa Road in Lumberton.
During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the car had been flagged as stolen.
Officials then proceeded to search the car finding cocaine, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, 24-year-old Kamron Smith, was charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine as well as a schedule two controlled substance, maintaining a drug vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Smith was already out on bond for charges related to eluding arrest and several traffic violations. He is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
