National League's Kyle Schwarber was named the game's MVP for his performance in the swing-off.

The National League won the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

After finishing nine innings all tied up, the game was decided by a swing-off for the first time.

In the impromptu home run derby, the teams picked three players to each take three swings.

Brent Rooker hit two homers to lead things off for the American League.

Kyle Stowers responded with one in his round, then Randy Arozarena also hit one home run.

Now down three to one, all three of Kyle Schwarber’s swings were homers for the National League.

Jonathan Aranda failed to hit any homers leading the NL to the four to three victory.

Schwarber was named the game’s MVP for his performance in the swing-off.
