Around 4:30am on Friday, police responded to a shooting in the McLeod area of Dillon County.

One man is facing charges in connection to the death of one person.

Around 4:30am on Friday, police responded to a shooting in the McLeod area of Dillon County.

Upon arrival, one victim was found dead but their identity was not publicly released.

Later that day, 21-year-old Devon Hunt turned himself in to the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. He is now facing murder and other pending charges.
