Man Arrested After Firing Shots Into Georgetown Co. Residence

20-year-old Tyquan Palmer is accused of entering a woman's home, striking her, and firing shots.

An arrest has been made in connection to a Georgetown County shooting.

The incident unfolded at a residence along West Myrtle Road in Andrews.

20-year-old Tyquan Palmer is accused of entering a woman’s home, striking her, and firing shots into a screen door and a wall after exiting the home.

The incident has been labeled as domestic violence.

Palmer now faces charges of attempted murder, burglary in the first degree, and four counts of assault and battery in the first degree.

He is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
