McLean Park Transforms To Park Of Honor For 4th Of July
Anyone is welcome to purchase an American flag for $100 to fill the park.
McLean Park in Horry County is set to transform into the ‘Park of Honor’ to celebrate July 4th.
The North Myrtle Beach Rotary Club will host opening ceremonies on Saturday at 10am.
Anyone is welcome to purchase an American flag for $100 to fill the park in honor of active duty, retired and fallen military and first responders.
Several details of the person you choose will appear on the flag including their name, service branch and rank, via a hanging card on the flags pole.
All proceeds will benefit Veteran and first responder organizations.
‘Park of Honor’ will run through July 13.
