Over One Million Anker Power Banks Recalled Due To Fires

The products were sold online through Anker's website, Amazon and Ebay between June 2016 and December 2022.

More than one million Anker Power Banks are being recalled due to reports of fires and explosions.

The recall covers 1.1 million Anker Powercore 10,000’s. The only model that is affected is the A1263.

The recall was placed after 19 reports of fires and explosions have been submitted, including two reports of minor burn injuries and 11 reports of property damage totaling to over $60,000.

Anker says it will replace the affected devices after customers submit a photo of their recalled power bank showing the model number, serial number, and their name.

The products were sold online through Anker’s website, Amazon and Ebay between June 2016 and December 2022.

Other Anker products being recalled over similar issues include, the 334 MagGo Battery (10k), the 321 Power Bank (5k), and the 535 Power Bank (2k.)
