One Of 242 Passengers Survives Air India Plane Crash
A total of 241 of the 242 people aboard the flight were killed in the crash. A single British national passenger survived.
We now have an update on the Air India plane crash that left hundreds dead.
On Thursday, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner plane was London-bound departing from an airport in India. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft exploded and crashed down to the street.
A total of 241 of the 242 people aboard the flight were killed in the crash. A single British national passenger survived.
The death toll has reached at least 290 people including others on the ground.
Three officials from India’s national disaster response force said the flight recorder has been located and will be reviewed to reveal what caused the incident.
According to Boeing, this was the first major incident involving a 787 Dreamliner since the aircraft entered into service in 2011.
