Adaptive Surf Project Partners With Lakewood For New Mobi-Mat
The project comes as part of Lakewood's new 'Waves and Wheels Station.'
The Adaptive Surf Project is partnering with Lakewood Camping Resort to launch a new accessible beach access point.
The installation of a Mobi-Mat will be conducted on Sunday. It will create a firm path over the sand to make the beach more accessible to individuals with mobility challenges.
The Mobi-Mat will be installed at the beach access point near Montana’s Fish Fry and the indoor pool.
The project comes as part of Lakewood’s new ‘Waves and Wheels Station.’ The initiative aims to reflect the resort’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility for all guests.
The campground also recently added five complimentary wheelchairs as part of the initiative.
