Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held To Celebrate New Waccamaw Youth Center
The facility will host an organization that supports teenage boys who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday to celebrate a new Waccamaw Youth Center in Conway.
The facility will host an organization that supports teenage boys who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
The new space will be used for various purposes including dining, recreation and workshops to teach life and career skills.
It will also serve as a living space for young men who are making the transition into independent living.
A fundraising campaign held by Leadership Conway helped furnish the new center.
