Publix has placed a voluntary recall on some baby food products.

GreenWise Pear Kiwi, Spinach and Pea Baby Food products are produced by Bowman Andros LLC. They were distributed to Publix grocery stores across several states including North and South Carolina.

The recall was placed after a routine sampling discovered potential contamination with elevated levels of lead.

The products were sold in 4-ounce plastic pouches and consumers are urged to throw them out or return them to their local Publix for a refund.
