If you reside in the Maryville community your access to water may have been cut off, but it’s only temporary.

The city of Georgetown’s water utilities department shut off water Monday morning as crews work to change out a mainline valve.

The repair work has affected the 2900 block of South Island Road, Belle Isle, South Island Plantation, Golf Drive, Helena Street, Aviation Boulevard, and Ibis Drive.

The work is expected to be complete by 6pm Monday.
