Water Bottle Refilling Stations To Be Installed Across S.C. State Parks

Each water station will include two water fountains, a bottle-filling spout, and a ground level pet-friendly fountain.

A $45,000 grant from Duke Energy Foundation will back the funds for installation of water bottle refilling stations at S.C. State Parks.

Each water station will include two water fountains, a bottle-filling spout, and a ground level pet-friendly fountain.

The stations will be situated at common visitation areas or trail-heads throughout the parks.

The new features will be installed in 10 state parks in “Duke Energy Progress” counties in the Pee Dee and Midlands regions.

That includes Myrtle Beach State Park, Huntington Beach State Park and Little Pee Dee State Park.

The move aims to reduce plastic waste while keeping visitors hydrated.
