Man Arrested For Threatening A Public Official

31-year-old Daniel Ledford is accused of repeatedly sending facebook messages to an official, "threatening to kill and harm his family."

One man has been arrested after threatening a public official.

31-year-old Daniel Ledford is accused of repeatedly sending facebook messages to an official, “threatening to kill and harm his family.”

He informed the victim that he knew where he lived and accurately described his house in the message.

Between May 11 and June 8 of last year, Ledford sent several messages.

He was charged with financial identity fraud, stalking and threatening the life of a public official.

He also faces charges in connection to separate incidents including posing as an officer and requesting money from people.
