American Airlines To Provide Free Wi-Fi Through AT&T Partnership

American Airlines announced plans to provide free Wi-Fi to some passengers.

The perk will be offered through a partnership with AT&T.

It will initially only be available to the airline’s AAdvantage loyalty program members starting January 2026.

The service will be provided across two million flights annually. Around 90% of its fleet will be equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi to make it available to passengers early next year.

The move to make it free to some comes after rival United Airlines introduced free Wi-Fi to its MileagePlus members last year.
