Two Local State Parks To Offer Beach Parking During The Summer

Huntington Beach State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park will provide visitors a way to ensure parking during the summer.

Two local parks are offering guaranteed beach parking again this summer.

Huntington Beach State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park will provide visitors a way to ensure parking during the summer.

The open parking spots will take up around a quarter of the lot at each park between May 16 and September 1. They cost $5 each per day. The parking fees do not include park admission.

Guaranteed parking only applies to vehicles that fit in a single parking space. Buses, RVs and Trailers are not allowed.

Those who reserve a space must arrive at their spot by noon on the day of their reservation and will be allowed in even if the rest of the park has reached capacity.

After noon, parking spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reservations can only be made online starting April 16.
