World’s Largest Amateur Golf Tournament Returning To The Grand Strand

The largest amateur golf tournament in the world is set to soon return to the Grand Strand.

The 42nd Play Golf Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship will involve 3,000 players on over 50 award-winning golf courses on the Grand Strand.

Registration to participate is now open for all divisions including net, gross and “just for fun.”

Registration includes four rounds of golf, each at a different course, nightly access to the World’s Largest 19th Hole. Players will also get a gift bag and the opportunity to play in the championship.

Play is scheduled runs from August 27 through August 29 for the Championship Playoff round. That match will determine this year’s world winner.
