Charges Filed After 8-Year-Old Shot While Eating Dinner In Florence
The girl was eating dinner with her family when she was struck by bullets that came from the apartment above theirs.
An arrest has been made after an 8-year-old child was shot in Florence County.
The incident occurred just after 5pm Wednesday in a complex along Willow Trace Drive.

The bullets injured her arm and leg. She is being treated but is expected to be ok.
We previously reported she was shot with an AR-15 but police revealed it was a handgun.
43-year-old Kelvin Allen reported he was cleaning the firearm when it accidentally went off. He is being held responsible for allegedly allowing the gun to discharge through the floor and into the below apartment.
Allen now faces charges of discharging a firearm into a dwelling. He was booked into the Florence County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
