Pentagon Deleting Articles To Comply With Trump DEI Order

The order involves eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion work from the federal government.

The Defense Department has removed or plans to take down thousands of websites to comply with an order from President Trump.

The order involves eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion work from the federal government. That includes removing pages dedicated to topics like the Holocaust and the 9/11 terror attacks.

Pages already deleted include an article about the experience of Holocaust survivor Kitty Sakes. Another page is from an Air Force sergeant that references the importance of protecting religious diversity and stopping discrimination.

Other targets are connected to pages about 9/11, veteran suicide prevention and more. One of the deleted articles recognized the military career of sports legend Jackie Robinson. That removal sparked major backlash and was restored by the department.
