Over 170 Passengers Evacuated After American Airlines Flight Caught Fire
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported. An investigation into what happened is currently being conducted.
Over 175 people were forced to evacuate from an American Airlines flight that caught fire.
Just after 5:15pm Thursday, the crew reported engine vibrations. It was diverted to and landed safely at Denver International Airport.
After landing, an engine broke out in flames and all 172 passengers as well as six crew members had to evacuate to the plane’s wing to use slides.
The Boeing aircraft originally departed from Colorado Springs and was heading to Dallas-Fort Worth.
