Former HCS Employee Arrested On Drug Related Charges
50-year-old Aaron Musick was found with a white powdery substance on school property.
A former P.E. teacher at Waterway Elementary School has been arrested.
On Friday, 50-year-old Aaron Musick was found with a white powdery substance on school property. The discovery comes after staff reported concerning behavior to law enforcement.
When officers arrived on the scene, a witness claimed that Musick had been acting differently and appeared to be in an “altered state of mind” frequently. He also failed required tests for his position at the school.
The actions led to a search of his office where the substance was found. Multiple prescription drugs with mismatched pills in the bottles were also found in his desk.
Musick resigned from his position on Monday and will not be allowed on any Horry County School campus.
Musick has been charged with possession with intent to distribute near a school, and manufacturing, distribution and possession of narcotics..
