Skeletal Remains Found In Lumberton Identified As Maryland Man

Skeletal remains found in the Lumberton area have been identified.

On February 21, the remains were discovered inside an underground water reservoir beneath an abandoned water plant along Water Street.

A Maryland ID card was found with the remains which belonged to 62-year-old Martin Williams. He was believed to be homeless and living in Lumberton at the time of his death.
