HCFR Says They Don’t Need Donations But Thanked The Community

International Drive has reopened after being closed during operations to control the Carolina Forest wildfire.

Horry County Fire Rescue took to social media to share an announcement.

“Currently, HCFR is good on food, snacks, water and other donated items. You folks are the best. Keep the positivity and support for all the hard-working folks coming, but we have no needs for donations or donated items at this time.”

Separately, Horry County authorities have reopened International Drive, which has been closed during operations to control the Carolina Forest wildfire. However, drivers are asked to maintain situational awareness as public safety personnel will still be active in the area.
